As women grow older, they’re more vulnerable to certain diseases such as cholesterol, osteoporosis, cervic cancer, breast cancer, ovarium cancer, obesity, and lots of others. We need to identify it earlier and more important is to prevent it.

Oprah gave us a quick list of important tests women should do on certain ages 😉
~ 20th ~

 

  • Blood Pressure : for a risk of high blood pressure.
  • Cholesterol : checking how much your HDL (good fat) and LDL (bad fat). No matter if you’re a skinny or a large women, you have risk of cholesterol.
  • Pelvic Exam
  • Regular Breast Exam
  • Total Skin Check (for every 3 years) : the sun light is getting more damaging to our skin, while women are having more activities. And so they have higher risk of skin cancer. *Never forget to apply your sunblock, ladies!*

~ 35th ~

 

  • Pap Smear
  • Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) : 80% of adult are infected by this virus. This is the kind of virus that make you risk of Cervic Cancer.
  • Thyroid Abnormality : can lead you to obesity, depression, hard to focus, decreasing memory and lots more.

~ 40th ~

  • Glaucoma Test : Glaucoma can make you blind without any early symptoms.

~ 50th ~

  • Colonoscopy : for checking your large intestine.
  • Mammography : to see whether you have a tumor or not. You have to start testing it for every single year.

~ 65th ~

  • Complete Blood Work
  • Urine Analysis
  • Eyesight Test

And last but not least … Every women in every age, have to take a BONE DENSITY TEST. It’s for checking your risk of Osteoporosis. Women are much more vulnerable to this kind of disease than men. It’s suggested to start drinking calcium or highly calcium milks and exercise regularly when you’re 19 years old to prevent the osteoporosis.
